Planned/Emergency Dismissal:
School cancellations, late openings, or early dismissals due to inclement weather or other emergencies are broadcast over television channels 3, 8, 30 and local Channel 16 and over radio stations WATR, WTIC, WPOP, and WWCO
Emergency Dismissal: 12:00 pm
Early Closings:
In the event of an early dismissal from school due to storms, heating difficulties, etc., it is important, especially when parents are not at home during the day, that children be instructed where to go and what to do. Please keep in mind that when dealing with a storm situation there is a possibility of an early dismissal. However, individual events such as heating breakdown or loss of water cannot be known to parents. As a result, it is important that each child be instructed as to what to do if school is dismissed early for any reason.

I-84 WEST - FROM HARTFORD
I-84 West to Route 8 North - get off at exit 36, Huntington Avenue., Colonial Avenue. Take a right onto Homer Street (name will change to Chase Avenue)
follow Chase Avenue (you will pass a Target Shopping center on your left) to Hill Street Extension (go through approx. 6 lights). As soon as you pass Super Stop and Shop turn left on Hill Street Extension and left onto North Main Street.
Follow North Main Street until the road forks bear left onto Bucks Hill Road. Stay on Bucks Hill Road until you see St. Michael’s Church. Turn right on St. Michael’s Drive. The school is on the left.
